Colfax is pulling out all the stops to celebrate this summer. July 23-24 will be a fun filled 2 days a city-wide party, with fun in the sun, history and community pride. We can't wait to see you on Main Street, Spring Street and Schmuck Park. For more information email colfaxchamber@gmail.com. Art Wall of Colfax - a project by Tom Mohr
Exhibit sponsored by The Colfax Chamber of Commerce - at The Libey Gallery
Hanging now at the Libey Gallery in Downtown Colfax, an incredible exhibit incorporating old and new, past and present Colfax, created by local photographer Tom Mohr. Tom combines historical photos, with a nod to the Colfax 150-year celebration, with contemporary images captured in Mohr's unique style. A must see while in town. The Gallery is located at 104 S Main Street and is accessed through the Colfax Library during library hours. Monday - Friday 10-6, Saturdays 1-5. Special hours on July 23,12-5 pm, The Colfax Celebration. Admission is Free.

Colfax Arts Council - 10:15-10:45 Colfax 150 Mural Dedication & Yarn Bombing
Join The Arts Council in the official unveiling and dedication of the newest mural in Colfax. Created by local artist Henry Stinson and chosen to represent Colfax and our history.
Don't miss the yarn bomb installation the Arts council has been working on all year. Look for fun yarn wraps in unexpected places around town during July.

The Colfax Downtown Association brings you The Free Kid Zone. So much family fun in one place. 11 am-5 pm Between The Dusty Attic and US Bank. Visit the dunk tank, face painting and other fun and games free to the public. Local celebrity Dunk tank 2:30-3 pm, come see the leaders of our great city take one for the team! Try your hand at dunking them.

Bring your bike and start at the Historic Perkins House to pick up your Pedal Passport, then pedal through history with this self-guided, family friendly bike tour of Colfax, hitting a few of our landmarks, collect stamps at each station, return the passport to the Perkins House for a vintage selfie and discounts from local retailers. Tour takes approximately 45 min. with easy to moderate routes available. End back at the Perkins House for music and tours of the house. Any time between 11-2 pm. Thank you to our Event Sponsors:

Guided Volksmarch (walking tour of Historical Colfax) 9am-11am
DISTANCE: 6K…TRAIL Rating: 2B
START POINT: Whitman County Library, 102 S. Main St, Colfax, WA 99111. From I-90, east or west, take US195 south toward Pullman. Colfax is approximately 1 hour south. US 195 is Main Street in Colfax. The library is located on the right. There is parking available behind the library, on the side by US Bank, and Mill Street (one block east of Main). Ask for the start box at the checkout counter. LIBRARY HOURS: Check for current times on the Whitman County Library Website. Also available using the OSB.
TRAIL DESCRIPTION: The route is on paved surfaces, sidewalks, and rail beds through the historical downtown of Colfax, Washington. The walk does contain one set of cement steps to reach the trail on the levee along the Palouse River.

Disc Golf Course Demonstration 9am-11 am
Friends of the Park will host a Disc Golf Demonstration at Schmuck Park. 9-11 to show off the newly installed disc golf course. The course is still in process, but meet the Friends of the parks for an introduction of the newest activity in Colfax.
